AssemblerJoin our dynamic team as an Assembler in a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. You will be part of the assembly process for large HVAC units at one of our plants. The role involves working in a clean, temperature-controlled environment where safety and precision are paramount.ResponsibilitiesPerform repetitive assembly work at one of the 7-9 stations, based on production needs.Assist in the assembly of large AC units for commercial applications such as apartment complexes and hospitals.Use hand tools and power tools daily to assemble different components.Adhere to all safety protocols and participate in safety training during the first week.Engage in brazing, soldering, machine operation, and quality checks once fully trained.Report any malfunctions or defects to the production supervisor.Learn to interpret blueprints and perform assembly tasks accordingly.Participate in testing units multiple times before shipment.Essential SkillsMinimum of 6 months experience in a manufacturing environment.Physically capable of bending, twisting, and lifting up to 40lbs repetitively.Willingness to climb into large AC units for assembly tasks.Additional Skills & Qualifications1 year of assembly experience is preferred.Experience with hand tools and power tools.Basic electrical experience is advantageous.Mechanical aptitude and inclination.Why Work Here?Enjoy comprehensive benefits from day one, including medical, dental, and vision coverage. Collaborate with team members and receive guidance from a lead technician during the initial weeks.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kentwood, MI.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
