Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.---Job SummaryThis role provides hands-on support to Engineering, Production, and Manufacturing by performing activities such as test, check-out, modification, fabrication, and assembly of electro/mechanical systems. Applications may include electronic circuits, power distribution, life/vehicle critical safety systems, and battery systems. Work is performed from schematics, diagrams, written descriptions, layouts, or defined plans to perform testing, checkout, and troubleshooting functions. The technician performs operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment and assists in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctions. Work is performed in both a laboratory setting as well as on the manufacturing floor or on vehicle depending on manufacturing needs.This role is part of the Engines, In-Space Systems and Test Ops group and is in Kent but supports all Business Units and groups across all facilities. As part of a hardworking team of technicians, you will assemble, repair, and evaluate electrical and mechanical assemblies for various spaceflight systems. You will share in the team's impact on all aspects of the production, evaluation, and development of Flight-grade Avionics.
