SuRo Capital is headquartered in New York, NY, and has an office in San Francisco, CA. The Opportunity:We are hiring a Social Media and Growth Marketing Intern this summer, with the potential to convert into a full-time position. The intern will be responsible for content creation, strategy, paid channels, and PR. Working at SuRo Capital is a unique opportunity to be at the heart of AI and venture capital investing. The role is perfect for anyone interested in venture capital who has wondered what it is like to sit in on sourcing discussions, investment workshops, investment committee meetings, industry deep dives, and more. What You’ll OwnInvestor awareness — Stand up content, social, paid channels, and partnerships that grow investor awareness of SuRo Capital, AI trends, and VC.Brand and positioning — Define how SuRo shows up across every surface, including the website, investor deck, press, social, and more. Set the voice and hold the line on it.Storytelling on approach and holdings — Turn our investment strategy, holdings, and market intelligence into a content engine. Help break down research notes, founder spotlights, and more into plain-English explainers.Owned media channels — Launch, run, and manage content on platforms such as our company website, YouTube, TikTok, and X. Continue to engage with these communities to drive awareness.PR and strategy — Work with our PR team to identify conversations relevant to SuRo Capital and drive earned media opportunities.Measure success — Own share of voice, shareholder engagement, content reach, and earned media as quarterly KPIs reported to our board. Who Should Apply:You have experience making and posting content on TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and X.You have built a content engine from scratch and can point to the audience you grew.You are comfortable with financial concepts. You do not need a CFA, but you should be able to hold a conversation about the markets or write on financial topics. You will learn a lot on the job, but you should have an interest in and openness to learning.You are a strong writer. The team will lean on you for copy, press, investor decks, and more.You have a network among financial creators on YouTube, X, and podcast circuits. Compensation/Salary:Compensation for the intern role is $25/hour.
