The Veterinarian will provide high-quality prevebtative and medical care to a variety of small and exotic animals, including diagnosing and treating health problems, performing surgeries, and administering vaccinations. Additional responsibilities include educating pet owners on preventative healthcare and chronic ongoing medical issues, maintaining accurate medical records, collaborating with the hospital team, and contributing to an environment that promotes compassionate care and professional excellence.QualificationsExpertise in diagnosing, treating, and preventing animal health issues Proficiency in performing surgeries and administering treatment plans Superb communication and client education skills Capacity to work collaboratively as part of a veterinary team Strong attention to detail and high standards for medical record keeping Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary college Untestricted DEA liscense Licensure to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Texas Experience in small animal care with exotic pets is preferred Passion for animal welfare and commitment to providing excellent patient care
