QA Engineer Automated 3 contractor

Position: QA Automated Engineer Location: Austin, TX 78751 Duration: 3 Months plus Job Summary: Design and develop automated tests by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically, including setting test scenario priorities and execution plans. Develop and maintain automated test cases using Playwright or similar technologies for a contract operations application. Create and maintain test scripts for both manual and automated testing; perform manual testing when required. Track and document test case execution, including establishing regular automated test schedules and generating required reports. Use Jira to log and track defects; maintain requirements traceability matrices. Support the development team during all stages (development, test, UAT, and production), including troubleshooting test cases and leading UAT activities as needed. Provide on-call support as necessary. Work within an Agile environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Preferred experience with JavaScript, HTML, Playwright, WebdriverIO, JMeter, Agile/Scrum, Jira, XRay, Zephyr, and accessibility testing. Required experience in manual and automated QA testing, test script creation, performance testing, and automated test case reporting (years of experience as specified in the job description).
