Senior Quality Assurance Analyst

Title: Senior Quality Assurance Analyst*Local to DMV areaDescription:• We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to lead testing and quality assurance efforts across a variety of IT projects. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in both manual and automated testing, excellent leadership skills, and hands-on experience with enterprise applications like Maximo and Cityworks.• You will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of software solutions by developing test strategies, executing test plans, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in both Agile and Waterfall environments and have a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.Key Responsibilities• Lead QA efforts for small to medium-sized IT projects.• Develop and execute test plans, use cases, and test scripts.• Perform manual and automated testing using tools like Selenium, SOAPUI, and Appium.• Conduct API testing for RESTful and SOAP web services.• Coordinate with business and IT stakeholders to ensure testing aligns with project goals.• Track and manage defects using tools such as JIRA or Rally.• Prepare QA documentation and project status reports.• Support data validation and reporting using PowerBI and SQL queries.• Ensure compliance with data privacy practices and standards.Required Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field.• 10+ years of QA experience, including leadership roles.• Strong experience with Maximo and Cityworks applications.• Proficiency in:o Selenium, SOAPUI, REST/SOAP APIso SQL Server, Oracle, MySQLo PowerBI, Jenkins, GitHubo Appium, Perfecto (Mobile Testing)o JIRA, Rally• Experience with Microsoft.Net, Java, PHP/MySQL applications.• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.Preferred Qualifications• Experience in the Water Utilities industry.• ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.• Familiarity with Log4j, JDBC, and continuous integration tools.
