Maintenance Specialist
https://www.themessengerco.com/JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the trouble shooting, repair, preventative maintenance, and general maintenance of all plant equipment to maximize quality production in a safe and efficient manner.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Respond to machinery service requests in a timely manner.Conduct preventative maintenance per the appropriate schedule.Ability to read blueprints and build simple parts to those specificationsFix, repair, and troubleshoot basic electrical problems.Perform welding tasks as needed.Adhere to 5S procedures as outlined.Participate as representative in meetings and committees.Work as a team member with others in groups to reach the most effective approach to solving problems.Other duties as assigned by management.QUALIFICATIONS:High School Diploma (or equivalent like a GED)SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams, equipment repair manuals, motor control circuit diagrams, sadder diagrams, and be able to make assemblies form instruction sheets.Ability to accurately measure within 1/1000 inch using rules, micrometers, and calipers.
