Janitor

Job Description: We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. As a Janitor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our indoor playground facility. You will be responsible for ensuring that all areas of the facility are clean, sanitized, and presentable for our guests at all times. Responsibilities: 1. Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting of floors, surfaces, and equipment throughout the facility. 2. Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and fixtures, to ensure a hygienic environment for guests and staff. 3. Empty and dispose of trash and recyclables from designated bins and containers, and ensure proper disposal according to waste management guidelines. 4. Clean and disinfect play equipment, toys, and other interactive elements regularly to maintain a safe and healthy environment for children. 5. Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and restroom amenities as needed, and notify management of any supply shortages or equipment malfunctions. 6. Assist with setup and breakdown of tables, chairs, and other furniture for special events, parties, and group reservations as requested. 7. Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment to prevent accidents and injuries. 8. Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations, and provide support as needed during peak periods or special projects. 9. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while interacting with guests and colleagues, and address any customer inquiries or concerns promptly and courteously. 10. Follow company policies and procedures regarding attendance, punctuality, and conduct, and contribute to a positive work culture that values teamwork, integrity, and excellence. Qualifications: - Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work preferred, but not required. - Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, bending, lifting, and carrying heavy objects. - Attention to detail and the ability to follow cleaning protocols and safety guidelines. - Strong work ethic and reliability, with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards. - Effective communication skills and the ability to work well independently as well as part of a team. - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to accommodate facility operating hours and special events.
