Human Resources Business Partner

HR Business PartnerWayday is looking for a high-caliber, action-oriented HR Business Partner to support our local shop leadership across multiple brands. This is not a traditional HR role our HRBPs are strategic partners, coaches to our leaders, and problem-solvers who thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. You will serve as the primary HR partner to 57 brands, supporting their RVP's and Presidents with: Employee Relations & Leadership SupportCoach leaders through performance issues, accountability, and documentation Lead and document investigations, ER cases, and sensitive conversations Provide guidance on state and federal employment laws across multiple states Help leaders build strong, healthy, high-performance teams Recruiting & OnboardingPartner with leadership to prioritize critical roles based on business needs Support recruiting efforts by screening top candidates and advising on hiring decisions Ensure onboarding processes are smooth, compliant, and set new hires up for success Leave Management & ComplianceManage FMLA, ADA, workers' comp, and other leave situations from start to finish Ensure timely communication, documentation, and compliance Partner with PEO, payroll and benefits teams on seamless employee transitions HR Operations & SupportProcess terminations, job changes, and employee data with accuracy Maintain consistency in job descriptions, pay structures, and documentation Track trends, risks, and themes to proactively support your shops Strategic PartnershipMeet weekly with each President to align on priorities and upcoming needs Drive clarity and consistency across brands through communication and follow-up Help reinforce Awayday culture, leadership expectations, and employee experience What We're Looking For: We're not looking for someone who waits to be told what to do we're looking for someone who: Has the ExperienceHas the Experience 5+ years of progressive HR Business Partner or HR Manager experience required. Experience supporting multiple locations or multi-state HR (preferred) SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred Comfortable in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities Approaches policies as a guidenot a barrierto driving action, resolving issues, and protecting the business.
