Surgery - General Physician Assistant

We are seeking two experienced Locum Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistants or Acute Care Nurse Practitioners (ACNP) to provide temporary coverage for a Cardiac Surgery, Heart Failure, and lung Transplant Unit in Houston, TX. These providers will support clinic, inpatient CVICU, and consults, helping bridge the gap while the unit completes its restructuring and full-time hiring process. Key Responsibilities: Provide care across CT Surgery Clinic, inpatient CVICU, and consult servicesAssist in preoperative and postoperative patient management. Perform consultations, rounds, and procedures as neededCollaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient careparticipate in on-call rotationsSchedule: 4x10-Hour shifts per week with call coverageUp to full-time availability required Flexible scheduling based on unit needsRequirements: Must be Texas-Licensed as a PA or ACNPPrior experience in Cardiothoracic Surgery required.
