Surgery - General Physician Assistant

We are seeking two experienced Locum Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistants or Acute Care Nurse Practitioners (ACNP) to provide temporary coverage for a Cardiac Surgery, Heart Failure, and lung Transplant Unit in Houston, TX. These providers will support clinic, inpatient CVICU, and consults, helping bridge the gap while the unit completes its restructuring and full-time hiring process. Key Responsibilities : Provide care across CT Surgery Clinic, inpatient CVICU, and consult services Assist in preoperative and postoperative patient management. Perform consultations, rounds, and procedures as needed Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care participate in on-call rotations Schedule: 4x10-Hour shifts per week with call coverage Up to full-time availability required Flexible scheduling based on unit needs Requirements: Must be Texas-Licensed as a PA or ACNP Prior experience in Cardiothoracic Surgery required.
