Assistant Superintendent

The Axel Group is seeking a motivated and experienced construction professional to join our client's dynamic team and lead key projects within the company. This is an exciting opportunity for a construction management professional to advance their career with a focus on the restoration and rehabilitation of infrastructure projects. In this role, you will work closely with the leadership team, and will eventually transition into a senior management position. Job Title: Assistant Superintendent Key Responsibilities:Oversee and manage multiple projects related to concrete restoration, structural repairs, facade rehabilitation, parking garage restoration, waterproofing, expansion joint systems, sealants, and protective coatings.Work directly with the Superintendent to assist with all site responsibilities. Coordinate with owners, developers, architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget.Conduct site assessments, develop project schedules, and ensure adherence to safety regulations and quality standards.Manage communication among stakeholders, prepare progress reports, and resolve project issues proactively.Support pre-construction activities, including planning, material procurement, and resource allocation.Lead project teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution. Qualifications:Proven experience in construction management. Strong knowledge of structural repair techniques, materials, and modern construction technologies.Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a collaborative team environment.Prior experience working with owners, developers, and engineers involved in large-scale infrastructure projects.Have a passion and drive to advance your career in the construction industry.
