🚀 We’re hiring: Java Back End Developer📍| iGaming / Online Casino/Sportsbook || Senior Java | Backend | Kafka/Rabbit MQ |🌏 Remote in EU in a B2B contract.💰 Salary: From €80k to €100k gross/year (DEO)🔸 MUST have iGaming/Gambling experience.My client is iGaming content provider of products for sportsbook and casino operators worldwide, is looking for a Senior Java Back End developer, to work remote in Europe, in a B2B contract.Role OverviewThe Back-End Developer will be responsible for develop and maintain scalable Java backend services and APIs supporting the platform. Drive technical solutions, mentor team members, and actively contribute to team goals.Skills & Experience8+ years of experience with Java, Spring, Springboot and Microservices2+ years of experience within the iGaming industry2+ years of experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ.Ideal candidates will have sportsbook, PAM, wallet, payments, or wider iGaming platform experience.Nice to have:Exposure to Kubernetes and AWSExperience with AI coding assistants and agentic development workflowsKey ResponsibilitiesBuild greenfield backend services in modern Java for a high-scale PAM platform handling real-money transactions.Develop core services for player wallets, ledgers, payments, bonuses, and account lifecycle management.Design REST APIs and event-driven integrations using Kafka or similar messaging technologies.Deliver highly reliable systems with idempotency, strong test coverage, transaction integrity, and resilient error handling.Implement KYC/AML, responsible gaming, and audit-trail requirements.Build production-ready services with metrics, structured logging, distributed tracing, and alerting; participate in on-call.Contribute to architecture discussions, RFCs, code reviews, and technical design alongside Principal Engineers.Use AI-assisted development tools as part of the engineering workflow.Support third-party platform migration, including parity testing, data validation, and production cutover.
