Maintenance Planner

The Maintenance Planner is responsible for coordinating and optimizing maintenance activities to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of equipment and facilities. The planner develops and implements maintenance plans, manages work orders, and parts to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. The planner works closely with other departments to support continuous improvement and safety initiatives along with production downtime, and preventive and predictive maintenance controls.*This position is based in a manufacturing plant environment, which may involve exposure to loud noise, heavy machinery, and varying temperatures. The planner reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and may require occasional evening or weekend work to address urgent maintenance issues or complete special projects.Job ResponsibilitiesThe responsibilities include but are not limited to –Develop and update preventive maintenance plans, schedules, and repairs to minimize disruptions to operations due to equipment failureCreate and manage work orders for maintenance tasks (properly defined) and ensure work is completed on timeAllocate the necessary resources for maintenance tasks, including man, materials, tools, and equipmentVerification and validation of work orders and repairs performedDaily tracking of production schedule to identify opportunities for executing maintenance activitiesUtilizing CMMS (e-work orders) to track maintenance activities, manage assets, and generate regular reports and present it to the teamOrder the parts & maintain safe inventory levels to carry out the repairs and tasks without delayPerform goods receipt and other related tasks in SAP to facilitate timely payments to vendorsResponsible for keeping the parts area clean and well-maintainedPlan the maintenance tasks in advance for shutdown and complete them during shutdownImplementing proactive maintenance measures to prevent potential disruptionsRoutine inspection of equipment, utilities and facility to identify potential issues and schedule repairs as neededWork with maintenance technicians, supervisors, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination of maintenance activitiesMaintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment service reports, contracts and compliance reportsAnalyze equipment history and other data to identify trends and patterns to inform maintenance planning decisionsInvestigating maintenance-related problems, analyzing root causes, and implementing solutions to prevent issuesCommunicate with the team for any special assignments.Responsible for the quality and safety of products produced, including machinery used by Sunny Sky Products.Entering Goods Receipts into SAP system for Maintenance Purchases.For more information about our company please visit our website at www.sunnyskyproducts.comSunny Sky Products is an equal-opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
