In this dynamic role, you’ll be the backbone of the bar operation, supporting bartenders and ensuring a clean, organized environment that enhances the guest experience. Your proactive approach and strong work ethic will help create memorable moments for our patrons while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. Responsibilities Assist bartenders by restocking supplies such as glassware, garnishes, liquor, and mixers to ensure seamless service. Maintain cleanliness of bar areas, including wiping down surfaces, washing glassware, and disposing of waste in accordance with health standards. Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies and equipment, ensuring proper technique to prevent injury. Support food preparation activities when needed, including prepping garnishes or assisting with light food service tasks. Manage stock levels by organizing storage areas and notifying management of inventory shortages. Ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations, maintaining a sanitized environment at all times. Assist with bussing tables and clearing empty glasses or dishes from the bar area to uphold a clean and inviting space for guests. Experience Candidates should bring a strong background in hospitality or food service environments, ideally with experience working behind a bar or in a restaurant setting. Previous roles involving food handling, catering, banquet service, or hotel operations are highly valued. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred, along with experience in cashiering or food industry roles like barista or serving staff. Excellent communication skills are essential for collaborating effectively with team members and providing outstanding customer service. Candidates must be comfortable with manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and cleaning duties, demonstrating a proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.
