This opportunity is ideal for attorneys looking to handle sophisticated matters while maintaining work-life balance in a remote-first environment.ResponsibilitiesManage a litigation caseload from inception through resolutionHandle all phases of insurance defense litigation including:Written discoveryDepositionsLaw and motion practiceCourt appearancesMediations and settlement negotiationsTrial preparationDraft pleadings, motions, and legal memorandaCommunicate directly with clients, carriers, opposing counsel, and expertsDevelop litigation strategies and case evaluationsIndependently manage deadlines and case progression in a remote settingQualificationsJ.D. from an accredited law schoolActive California Bar membership in good standing2+ years of insurance defense litigation experience preferred but open to other civil litigation.Salary and Other Compensation:The annual salary for this position is between [$180,000 – $200,000 annually].
