CNC Mastercam Programmer

POSITION SUMMARYWe are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer / Mastercam Programmer with 10+ years of machining experience and 5+ years of Mastercam programming experience to support high-precision manufacturing operations in a fast-paced military production environment. This role requires expertise in multi-axis machining, strong technical problem-solving skills, and the ability to produce mission-critical components with strict quality and compliance standards.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIESProgram 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis CNC milling machines using MastercamProgram CNC lathes and mill-turn machinesDevelop, optimize, and troubleshoot complex toolpaths for tight-tolerance partsInterpret and work from complex blueprints, GD&T, and military specificationsSet up and prove out new programs on the shop floorSelect appropriate tooling, fixtures, and cutting strategies for high-efficiency machiningCollaborate with engineers, machinists, and quality control personnelMaintain program documentation and revision controlImprove cycle times while maintaining quality and safety standardsSupport continuous improvement initiatives in a high-mix, low-volume environment
