Facilities ManagerFacilities Manager oversees employee and visitor safety, building maintenance, repair and upgrades, and comply with environmental, safety and health procedures relating to facility operations in our headquarters. Also responsible for overseeing other Hantz facilities throughout the state.Essential Job Functions:Coordinates building maintenance and repairs Provides occupants with updates of electrical, water and other service outages and scheduled shutdownsOversees building securityRequests special janitorial servicesStays informed of changes to space assignments in their facilitiesDevelops and implements facility emergency plansNegotiated landscape/snow removal contractsOversee office buildouts and repairs All other tasks assignedEducation/Knowledge & Skills:High School Diploma/GED3 year building maintenance experienceKnowledge of trades related to building maintenance and repairKnowledge of a variety of building maintenance procedures and techniquesKnowledge of machinery, equipment, and tools necessary for the maintenance and repair of public buildingsKnowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautionsSkill in reading and following assembly instructionsSkills in following safety practices and recognizing hazardsAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Senior Vice Presidents and ContractorsAbility to communicate effectively, both orally and in writingPowered by JazzHR
