SummaryQualified candidates are responsible for Mil/Aero sales, including key account sales responsibility, in the territory. Manage a collection of independent sales reps providing extended coverage across the region and collaborate with distribution partners. The right candidate will be passionate in advancing technologies within the Aerospace and the defense industries. In addition, this person will be a key member of the North American mil/aero sales team, reporting to the Sr. Manager of North America Mil/Aero sales.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDrive sales growth of Times Microwave products in the Mil/Aero market.Direct key account development and sales responsibility. Experience selling to the major military primes beneficial.Develop and manage key program and sales opportunities in the territoryCoordinate with a team of other complementary direct Business Dev. ManagersGenerate customer quotations and proposals working w/ Engineering, Programs and Finance teams as requiredCollaborate with engineering on custom product solutionsManage expectations between customers and the company on lead times, expedites, and availabilityProvide regular forecasting and pipeline updatesMake decisions to support sales and grow the businessTravel expectations up to 40% - 60% as required depending on locationQualifications/RequirementsBachelor's degree with a focus on business management, operations or engineering preferredMinimum 5-years' experience in outside sales environmentApplications knowledge including Aeronautics, Missile Systems, Space, Electronic Warfare, Radar, and Ground Combat VehiclesFamiliar with establishing and managing a sales rep networkExperience with RF interconnect products, coaxial cable &/or related products a plus.Comfortable discussing technical requirements such as RF electrical specifications and mechanical requirementsHighly accountable for performance in the territoryLocated within the region to support sales activity
