DevOps Platform Engineer

Matlen Silver is actively recruiting for a DevOps Platform Engineer to work with our financial services client's Application Development and Technology Infrastructure teams to implement cloud container and CI/CD automation requirements onto their AWS and Azure cloud platforms. With automation as a key motivator, you will implement predictive, preventative and self-healing full stack monitoring solutions including centralized logging to enable incident triage,Key responsibilities:Responsible for automating patch certification, testing, and delivery pipelines for MuleSoft runtime and Spring-based integration platforms.This role will design, build, and operate fully automated, scalable certification frameworks and integration pipelines supporting enterprise API ecosystems.Building test harnesses and orchestration frameworksDriving DevOps practices using Terraform, Ansible, and scriptingFully automated Spring Gateway/Integration patch certification workflow and delivery pipelineTest harness that runs hundreds of integration scenariosTerraform-driven environment setup for certification testingAnsible-based automated patch rolloutIntegrate with CI/CD pipelinesEnable reusable testing patterns for integration systemsTerraform for multi-environment provisioningAnsible for configuration management and patch executionCreate and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Git-based workflows) and Automated deployment and rollback strategiesImplement observability and operational monitoring hooksAPI lifecycle managementGateway configuration and optimizationSupport hybrid environments (on-prem, cloud, container platforms)Desired Experience:Ansible playbook developmentTerraform (Infrastructure as Code)CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar)Experience with containerized environments (Kubernetes/OpenShift)Python and/or Linux Shell scriptingCloud AWS (Azure is also okay)Deep understanding of REST APIs, API gateway patterns, integration architectures, and AI-assisted automation or intelligent testing frameworksExperience with observability tools (Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana)About Matlen SilverExperience Matters.
