Job DescriptionGHG Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Asheville, North Carolina.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: ED - Emergency DepartmentDiscipline: RNStart Date: ASAPDuration: 1 weeks36 hours per weekShift: 12 hours, nightsEmployment Type: TravelEstimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2314.04\n\nOpportunity:\nEmergency Dept.\n\nJob Details:\n• Work in a 101-bed emergency department with patient ratios typically 4:1 for medical patients, up to 7:1 for ED behavioral holds\n• Must work every other weekend with flexible scheduling to meet department needs\n• No floating outside of the ED but must be open to floating to all sections within the ED\n• 2 years nursing experience required with at least 1 year in ER setting\n• Level 2 trauma center experience required with comprehensive stroke center and high volume (100,000+ visits) ED experience\n• Previous HCA experience preferred\n• Must demonstrate teamwork mentality and ability to coach and give feedback in real time\n• Required certifications before starting: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS\n• ENPC certification required within 90 days of hire\n• Work with Baxter pumps, GE monitors, and Cerner documentation system\n• Navy scrubs required\n• Must follow AIDET protocols and maintain respectful behavior with focus on patient experience\n• Support available from techs in cardiac monitoring, internal processing, and triage areas\n• Unit clerks available during days and nights\n\nFacility:\nThis healthcare facility operates a comprehensive Level 2 trauma center and stroke center with a high-volume emergency department seeing over 100,000 visits annually.
