TITLE: English Language Arts Teacher - Special Education
LOCATION: Alan D. Pole Campus, Norwich, NY
Robert W. Harrold Campus, Sidney Center, NY
REPORTS: Building Principal
TERMS: 10 months, Part-time
QUALIFICATIONS: New York State Certified to teach English Language Arts 7-12 or eligible to
receive New York State teacher certification, and Special Education
RESPONSIBILITIES/
DUTIES:
Plans and provides for appropriate English Language Arts experiences aligned
with NYS Learning Standards. Responsible for co-planning and co-teaching with
instructors to deliver commencement level curriculum. Successful candidate will
possess strong classroom management skills, develop positive student/teacher
relationship, and utilize creative and flexible instructional practices.
SALARY/BENEFITS: Starting salary $57,315 - $79,266 per year. Competitive pay and benefits based
on BOCES Teachers’ Association (BTA) contract.
