Manufacture Equipment Operator

Hours: 7am to 3pm/ 3 pm to 11 pm / 11 pm to 7 am ___________________________________________ POSITION SUMMARY The Press Operator I will be responsible for training/coaching entry-level operators on pre-approved presses. In addition, the Press Operator I is expected to use independent judgment to identify task/equipment complications troubleshoot the problem, and communicate the incident and troubleshooting steps with the shift supervisor. The Press Operator I will also inform the shift supervisor of any mold damage or equipment failures. Failure to maintain excellent communication with shift supervisors may result in demotion. The Press Operator I will unload and load molds using loading boards and knockout fixtures, molded parts will be placed into a container with the required paperwork and taken to the holding area. It is expected that the Press Operator I will perform their tasks, complete their projects, and any other related responsibilities with minimal supervision. Additionally, the person fulfilling the duties of this position is expected to demonstrate a team player’s attitude at all times.
