This role sits at the intersection of data, communications, and risk, translating large volumes of media, social, and stakeholder data into timely, actionable insights that inform executive decision-making during moments that matter most.The ideal candidate brings a strong analytics foundation paired with a deep understanding of issues management, crisis communications, and always-on media monitoring, helping clients anticipate risk, track emerging narratives, and respond with confidence.What You'll DoLead end-to-end delivery of issues, crisis, and reputation intelligence programs, including media monitoring, escalation frameworks, and executive dashboardsServe as a senior, client-facing advisor translating complex data and narrative signals into clear, strategic counselDesign and oversee media monitoring and listening solutions across earned, social, and digital channelsDevelop early-warning and trend-detection models to identify escalation risks and narrative velocityIntegrate qualitative and quantitative intelligence into actionable insightsSupport real-time response, scenario planning, and post-incident analysisBuild scalable dashboards delivering near–real-time intelligenceEnsure analytical rigor, data quality, and complianceMentor and develop analytics and insights teamsChampion responsible use of AI in monitoring and intelligence workflowsExperience That Contributes To Success7+ years in analytics, business intelligence, or media intelligence; 2+ years in leadershipExperience supporting issues management, crisis communications, or reputation programsStrong background in media monitoring and narrative analysisExperience in PR, communications, or client-service environmentsProficiency in Python, SQL, or RDashboarding expertise (Tableau, Power BI, Looker)Ability to advise senior stakeholders under pressureDegree in a quantitative or communications-related fieldExperience applying AI to media analysis or trend detectionFamiliarity with global media landscapesBurson is an equal opportunity employer and considers applicants for all positions without discrimination or regard to particular characteristics.
