General PurposeReceive, count, move, and stage materials for production jobs based on job tickets and schedules in a safe, timely, and efficient manner. Track material usage in both hard copy and electronic systems and participate in cycle counts and annual physical inventory activities. Essential Job FunctionsWork closely with all departments to ensure materials are received and delivered accurately and on time Follow all standard operating procedures, work instructions, and current GMPs Operate forklifts safely and properly Open, prepare, and stage material loads for production Communicate effectively with machine operators and team members Follow all safety rules and procedures Assist with timely and accurate cycle counts Participate in the annual physical inventory process Assist with resolving inventory discrepancies Deliver materials to assigned jobs per job tickets and production schedules Manage time effectively to meet operational needs Perform other duties as assigned QualificationsAbility to pass in-house forklift training Basic computer skills, including email, word processing, and database use Effective verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work effectively in a team environment Knowledge of, or ability to learn, safety rules, operating procedures, maintenance guidelines, and technical policies Ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization Reliable attendance and dependability Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation Candidates are required to undergo a drug screening after receiving a conditional job offer, but before starting employment.
