Sr. Agentic AI Engineer - Founding-Level Role | Global · Remote
About UsWe're building an AI platform for small and midsize businesses — one that actually runs their customer interactions across web and phone, executes real business tasks, and shows results on a dashboard they can understand. No demo-ware. No "works on my laptop." A system that handles real conversations, takes real actions, and moves the needle for real businesses. What This Role IsYou'll own the production runtime end to end: from the moment a customer lands on a website or picks up the phone, through our intelligence engine, into automated business actions, and back out to a dashboard the business owner can see.Your job is to make that full loop work — reliably, fast, and at a quality bar we can put in front of paying customers within weeks. You'll work directly with the CTO, the engineering team, and the Founder. The expectation is simple: ship working systems, make pragmatic calls, and take ownership of what you deliver.Day to day, that means:Getting the end-to-end agentic loop stable and production-readyShipping a runtime that responds fast and doesn't block the user experienceCleaning up bypasses and duplicate paths so there's one system of recordOwning observability — monitoring, logging, alerts, retries, rollbackMentoring the distributed team and setting the bar on how we build agentic systemsWhat You BringWe need hands-on, production-proven experience across all of the following:Agentic systems and LLM tooling. You've built systems where AI actually plans, reasons, calls tools, and acts. You've worked with LLMs (Gemini, Claude, GPT-class models), grounded them with real data, and dealt with context windows, memory, and long-term reasoning in practice, not just in theory.Workflow orchestration. You've designed or owned multi-step automated processes. State transitions, retries, failure handling, guardrails, traceability. Whether that was LangGraph, Autogen, or something you built from scratch.Latency-sensitive services. You've built APIs that have to respond fast under real traffic. You understand what sub-second UX means, how to push work to the background, and where the scaling trade-offs live.Backend engineering depth. Strong production skills in Python, Node, Go, or similar. API design, event-driven patterns, caching (Redis), messaging and queueing.Startup mindset. You're comfortable with ambiguity, you make decisions under pressure, and you'd rather ship something that works than wait for a perfect spec.Nice to have:Vector DBs or Knowledge Graphs in productionAgent communication protocols like MCP, ACP, A2ACloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP)Ability to explain complex technical work clearly to non-technical stakeholdersThis role is not for:Researchers or prompt-only practitionersEngineers who need complete specifications before they startAnyone who hasn't put agentic systems in front of real usersHow We WorkYou'll own runtime activation. You have the authority to freeze scope and make the trade-offs needed to ship. You report to the Founder. The bar is: move fast, decide clearly, own outcomes.Remote — hiring globally. Founding-level role with market salary. How to ApplyApply here: https://forms.gle/9qL7BAHRhUqjzTWy9In the form, include a short note about one production system you led — what you shipped, the hardest failure you hit, and how you resolved it.We're an equal opportunity employer. We welcome applications from all qualified candidates regardless of race, gender, age, religion, sexual orientation, or disability status.#hiring #remotejobs #agenticai #llm #ai #startupjobs #seniorengineer #aiplatform
