You will lead by example designing, developing, and delivering high performance applications while mentoring a team of engineers and guiding solution architecture. You should have a passion for technology and can navigate your way across complex and rapidly changing landscapes by staying on top of latest trends and thrive by sharing knowledge. You'll be helping us build things, taking an idea, and creating rapid prototypes that are shippable and learn from real life feedback. You are also comfortable to be a self starter, who actively challenges status quo, is curious and not afraid to ask "Why” and "What if”?Your future duties and responsibilities:Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise desktop applications using C#, .NET, WPF, and XAML.Develop responsive and maintainable user interfaces using WPF, XAML, data binding, commands, and MVVM patterns.Contribute to application modernization initiatives using modern .NET technologies and .NET MAUI.Develop and integrate backend services using REST APIs, WCF, and other enterprise integration mechanisms.Participate in the complete software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, technical design, development, unit testing, integration testing, deployment, and production support.Implement application components that meet functional, performance, security, and maintainability requirements.Troubleshoot application and integration issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable fixes.Develop unit and automated tests and contribute to improving overall application quality.Participate in code reviews and follow established coding, architecture, security, and engineering standards.Work closely with Product Owners, Architects, Tech Leads, developers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver high quality solutions.Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated build, test, and deployment processes using Jenkins and Git.Support application modernization and technical debt reduction initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve application performance, maintainability, and reliability.Required qualifications to be successful in this role:6–9 years of professional software development experience.Strong hands on experience with WPF, XAML, C#, and .NET developing enterprise desktop applications.Practical experience with the MVVM design pattern, including data binding, commands, dependency injection, and separation of concerns.Experience with .NET MAUI and an understanding of its application development model.Experience consuming and integrating REST APIs and WCF services.Good understanding of software design patterns such as MVVM, Dependency Injection, Publish/Subscribe, Factory, Repository, etc.Strong experience with Visual Studio; familiarity with VS Code, Fiddler, and Postman.Experience developing data driven applications and working with SQL/PLSQL, preferably with Oracle.Experience with unit testing frameworks such as NUnit and automated testing practices.Exposure to Jenkins, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated build/deployment processes.Good understanding of application debugging, performance analysis, exception handling, logging, and production support.Demonstrated ability to write clean, maintainable, testable, and production quality code.Strong analytical and problem solving skills.Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative Agile environment.Education: Bachelor's in computer science or related degree.Benefits:Benefits are offered to eligible professionals on their first day of employment to include:Competitive compensationComprehensive insurance optionsMatching contributions through the 401(k) plan and the share purchase planPaid time off for vacation, holidays, and sick timePaid parental leaveLearning opportunities and tuition assistanceWellness and Well being programsEmployment Practices:VLink is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering an inclusive environment where diversity is celebrated.
