Assembly Technician

We're a growing brand in the Overlanding, Adventure, Preparedness, and Structures space, and we're looking for a hands-on Assembly Technician who's equally comfortable building products on the bench and packing orders for our online customers.Position OverviewThe Assembly Technician plays a dual role at Guzzle H2O: you'll assemble and quality-check our water filter products while also picking, packing, and shipping ecommerce orders. This is a full-time, on-site position that sits at the intersection of manufacturing and fulfillment — perfect for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship and loves keeping things moving.Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Assembly• Assemble hydration products according to standard operating procedures and work instructions• Inspect components and finished goods for defects, dimensional accuracy, and quality standards• Operate hand tools, fixtures, and light machinery as required• Report quality issues, component shortages, or process deviations to the production lead• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation at all times• Assist with kitting, light fabrication, and prototype builds as neededEcommerce Fulfillment & Shipping• Pick and pack ecommerce orders accurately from pick lists or warehouse management system (WMS)• Prepare shipments using carrier software (UPS, FedEx, USPS, ShipStation, or similar)• Apply correct postage, labels, and packing materials to meet carrier and brand standards• Process returns and exchanges, inspect returned items, and restock or quarantine as appropriate• Maintain inventory counts; escalate discrepancies to the fulfillment supervisor• Keep the fulfillment area stocked with packing materials and assist with receiving inbound freightQualificationsRequired• High school diploma or GED• 1+ year of experience in assembly, manufacturing, or warehouse/fulfillment operations• Ability to read work instructions, pick lists, and packing slips• Comfortable standing, bending, and lifting up to 40 lbs repeatedly throughout a shift• Strong attention to detail and a quality-first mindset• Reliable, punctual, and a team playerPreferred• Experience with ShipStation, Shopify, or a WMS platform• Familiarity with lean manufacturing or 5S principles• Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, label printing software)• Experience processing ecommerce returns or working with small parcel carriersWork Environment & Schedule• Full-time, on-site position (Monday–Friday; some flexibility in schedule.)• Fast-paced production and fulfillment environment — temperature-controlled facility• Safety glasses and closed-toe shoes required on the production floorCompensation & Benefits• Competitive hourly wage — commensurate with experience• Paid time off and company holidays• Employee discount on all Guzzle H2O products• Opportunities for advancement as the team growsHow to ApplySend your resume and a brief note about your relevant experience to careers@guzzleh2o.com.
