Job SummaryThe Temporary Marketing Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the Marketing team by managing the intake, coordination, and delivery of high volume, quick-turn marketing requests across the organization. This role exists to ensure fast, consistent, and well‑managed execution of tactical marketing updates—such as flyer revisions, localized print ads, and website updates—so that Product Marketing Managers and Marketing leadership can remain focused on high‑impact, strategic initiatives that drive member growth and engagement.The ideal candidate is highly organized, responsive, and detail‑oriented, with a strong project coordination mindset and the ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders across all levels of the organization.The Marketing Coordinator reports to the Marketing Manager.About UFCUOur Credit Union was founded in 1936 and has grown to serve members throughout Texas and beyond. We champion teamwork, accountability, continuous improvement, and celebrate successful outcomes of others, fostering an inclusive environment of excellence and collaboration.Essential FunctionsRequest Intake & TriageManage with Senior Marketing Project Manager incoming marketing requests submitted through the Marcom Request Form, which is reviewed weekly by Marketing Leadership.Conduct initial discovery on approved requests to clarify scope, objectives, timelines, and required deliverables.Serve as the primary point of contact for requesters, asking clarifying questions and setting realistic expectations around timelines and outcomes.Triage requests and assign work to the appropriate internal teams (Creative, Web, or other Marketing partners).Project CoordinationCoordinate multiple quick‑turn projects simultaneously, typically managing 8–12 requests per week.Ensure projects move efficiently from intake to delivery while adhering to established processes and service‑level expectations.Track progress, identify potential bottlenecks, and proactively communicate status updates to stakeholders.Ensure all requests remain aligned to scope and are not expanded into larger, strategic initiatives.Stakeholder CommunicationMaintain clear, professional, and timely communication with internal partners across the organization.Reinforce marketing processes and help educate requesters on timelines, requirements, and best practices.Help ensure internal partners have positive and consistent experience working with the Marketing team.Reporting & InsightsProvide a weekly snapshot report to the Marketing Manager that includes:Request volumeRequest typesTurn timesBacklogSLA performanceNotable trends or recurring issuesSurface insights and recommendations to improve efficiency, intake quality, and overall marketing operations.CompetenciesAdaptabilityBuilding Member LoyaltyBuilding PartnershipsCommunicationEmotional IntelligenceFocus on ResultsInfluenceExperienceRequired1–3 years of experience in marketing coordination, project management, or a related roleStrong organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience working with a project management tool (e.g., Wrike or similar)Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)Experience using Adobe Acrobat Reader for reviewing and managing filesMust be bondable.PreferredSome marketing background or exposure to marketing workflowsProject management experience, formal or informalExperience working in or supporting a regulated industry (nice to have)Physical Demands The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee, with or without accommodation, in order to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. May occasionally move from one work location/branch to another. Public contact position, requiring appropriate professional appearance. Frequent computer use at a workstation of up to two hours at a time. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
