Java Full Stack Developer (Angular)

*Java Angular Full Stack Web Application Developer* *Location:* Woodlawn, MD (Hybrid – Onsite 75%) *Employment Type:* Full-Time, Permanent About the Opportunity Our recruiting agency is partnering with a federal client to identify experienced Java Full Stack Developers to support the development and modernization of mission-critical enterprise applications. This is an opportunity to work on large-scale government systems that impact millions of users while leveraging modern Java technologies, Angular, cloud platforms, and Agile development practices. The ideal candidate is a hands-on software engineer with experience designing, developing, and maintaining secure, scalable web applications across both front-end and back-end technologies. This position supports enterprise modernization initiatives and requires collaboration within cross-functional Agile teams. Key Responsibilities * Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise web applications using Java and Angular. * Build scalable RESTful APIs and backend services using Spring Boot and related Java frameworks. * Develop responsive user interfaces utilizing Angular, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript. * Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support. * Collaborate with architects, product owners, QA teams, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions. * Troubleshoot application issues and implement performance improvements. * Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following established coding standards. * Perform code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. * Support Agile/Scrum development processes and participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement. * Assist in application modernization efforts, including cloud adoption, automation, and DevSecOps best practices. Required Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience). * Strong experience developing enterprise applications with Java. * Experience with Angular (Angular 12+ preferred). * Experience with Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architecture. * Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript. * Experience working with relational databases such as Oracle or SQL Server. * Familiarity with Git and modern source control practices. * Experience working within Agile software development environments. * Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with one or more of the following is highly desirable: * Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) * CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) * Docker and Kubernetes * OAuth, JWT, or enterprise authentication frameworks * Automated testing frameworks * DevSecOps practices * Enterprise application modernization projects * Government or other highly regulated enterprise environments Work Environment * Hybrid work schedule. * Onsite presence required approximately 75% of the time in Woodlawn, Maryland. * Full-time permanent opportunity. * No travel required.
