*Job Overview* We are seeking an energetic and dedicated SERVER to join our vibrant hospitality team. Hours: 18–27 hrs/week Total earnings average $18–$28/hr with tips. *Responsibilities* * Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their seats with enthusiasm. * Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted clearly. * Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktails, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages, maintaining high standards of presentation and safety. * Process sales transactions accurately, including cash handling, credit card processing, and upselling additional items to enhance guest experience. * Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables promptly and assisting with food handling and preparation when needed. * Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, wine pairings, and drink options to boost sales through upselling techniques like OpenTable reservations or suggestive selling. * Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and fostering positive guest relations throughout their visit. *Skills* * Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings. * Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for efficient transaction processing. * Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach that creates a welcoming atmosphere. * Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while multitasking between serving food, drinks, and processing transactions. * Knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine knowledge, cocktail preparation, and drink presentation. * Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. * Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and sales calculations; experience with cashiering is a plus. * Experience with reservation systems like OpenTable is advantageous for managing guest seating efficiently.
