American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an IMC Med/Surg Telemetry position in San Marcos, TX, requiring at least 1 year of telemetry or related nursing experience and active TX or compact RN licensure.Job Details• Located in a hospital intermediate care (IMC) Med/Surgical unit,• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM,• 13-week contract,Job Requirements• Active RN license in Texas or a compact state currently in hand,• Current BLS certification required (AHA only),• Current ACLS certification required (AHA only),• Minimum 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty,• BSN preferred,• Valid US Social Security Number required for consideration,• 2 professional references required for consideration,• Copies of all active certifications required for consideration,Additional Information• Provides routine and complex nursing care using the full nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation,• Administers medications and treatments per protocol, monitoring for side effects and treatment effectiveness,• Addresses complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families,• Educates patients, family members, and caregivers and identifies appropriate resources,• New hires are precepted by a designated trained staff member; onboarding includes organizational and Med/Surg-specific competency validation,• All newly hired experienced RNs must attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days,
