Job TitleSelective Platers HelperDepartmentProduction Div. 11Reports ToProduction SupervisorSummaryAssists the reel to reel plater in the effective operation of the reel to reel plating line by performing the following duties.Essential Duties And Responsibilitiesinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.Assists plater with all machine set-ups.Collects numbers and samples on all raw material reels.Makes reel changes and splices when needed by using appropriate available equipment.Maintains levels on all cleaners, acids, coppers, nickels, and rinse tanks.Also makes chemical additions as instructed by the lab.Cleans the plating machine and work area when time is allotted.Replaces belts, sprockets, cleaner plates and metal anodes material as needed.Performs chemical maintenance work by using a hydraulic air pump and a barrel transfer hand jack.Maintains product identity.PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
