LTE Protocol Engineer

Job Summary:Our client is seeking a LTE Protocol Engineer to join their team! This position is located in Bedminster, New Jersey.Duties:Develop and validate 5G and LTE new features and KPIs based on NR 5G and LTE protocolsWork on various protocol features for Android and iOS applications and perform validationIdentify issues, implement fixes, and validate the resolutionsProvide customer support for troubleshooting and demonstrationsCollaborate with cross-functional teams including SMEs, development teams, and server teams for feature integration, issue resolution, and validationDocument user manuals for the application, new features, and supported devicesDesired Skills/Experience:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science OR Equivalent degree is requiredExperience in LTE/5G modem protocol development, maintenance, and validationStrong programming skills, preferably in Java, C/C++, or similar languagesFamiliarity with developing and validating 5G/LTE features across various Android devicesAbility to collaborate with engineers and developers working across different infrastructure layersStrong understanding of wireless communication protocols and standardsCommitment to collaborative problem-solving, sophisticated design, and high-quality product developmentExperience working in agile, cross-functional teamsSolid debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsBenefits:Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance PlansEmployee-Owned Profit Sharing (ESOP)401K offeredThe approximate pay range for this position is between $45.00 and $65.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location.
