Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage waitlists efficiently to minimize wait times Escort guests to their tables, providing menus and answering initial questions about the menu or specials Maintain cleanliness and organization of host stand, waiting areas, and dining spaces Assist with reservations management using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to ensure accurate seating arrangements Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate seating flow and address guest needs promptly Uphold excellent phone etiquette when handling reservation inquiries or guest questions over the phone Provide exceptional guest services by addressing concerns professionally and ensuring guest relations are positive from start to finish Experience Prior experience as a host or hostess in a fast-paced restaurant environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are essential Experience in food service or customer service roles demonstrates strong communication skills and guest-focused mindset Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Strong communication skills, including clear verbal interaction and attentive listening, are vital for success in this role Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanor under pressure Join us if you’re passionate about creating memorable dining experiences!
