Senior Environmental Compliance & EMS LeaderWest Lafayette, INOn-Site/ Direct HireA growing and highly respected manufacturing organization is seeking a Senior Environmental Compliance & EMS Leader to drive environmental strategy, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives across multiple facilities. This is a highly visible role that will partner closely with operations, engineering, and site leadership teams to ensure environmental programs are standardized, sustainable, and audit-ready.Key Responsibilities:Lead and standardize environmental compliance programs across multiple manufacturing sitesEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations including:Title V / MACT Air PermitsRCRA Hazardous Waste RegulationsStormwater & Wastewater ProgramsDOT Hazardous Materials RequirementsOversee environmental permitting activities, reporting, documentation, and audit readinessDrive implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of ISO 14001 Environmental Management SystemsPartner with site EHS teams and leadership to reduce environmental risk and improve overall environmental performanceSupport environmental incident investigations, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and emergency response preparednessDevelop and standardize environmental training programs and best practices across locationsUtilize environmental data and reporting metrics to identify trends and support operational improvementsSupport capital projects and new equipment implementation to ensure environmental compliance requirements are metQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field7+ years of environmental experience within a manufacturing environmentStrong hands-on experience with Title V permits, hazardous waste programs, wastewater compliance, and ISO 14001 EMSExperience supporting or leading multi-site environmental programs preferredStrong leadership, communication, and organizational skillsProfessional certifications such as CHMM, CSP, PE, or ISO 14001 Auditor certifications are a plus
