Position Summary
The Sales Supervisor supports the Sales Manager in overseeing daily sales operations with a strong emphasis on sales growth, departmental compliance, training, and process development. This role helps ensure that the sales team delivers consistent, accurate, and high-quality customer interactions while maintaining strong relationships with distributors and clients. The Sales Supervisor drives execution of repeatable processes—including scripts, templates, follow-up procedures, and accurate CRM documentation—to support WhisperKOOL’s standards and long-term growth.
Essential Functions
1. Support to Sales Leadership
Assist the Sales Manager in implementing and maintaining sales strategies aligned with organizational goals and product availability.
Serve as a resource for the team’s daily operational needs and act as leadership support in the Sales Manager’s absence.
Help foster a positive team culture focused on accountability, growth, quality communication, and customer care.
2. Compliance, Auditing & Process Improvement
Audit sales activity, CRM entries, follow-up rates, call logs, and quote accuracy to ensure compliance with internal standards.
Develop and refine repeatable processes such as scripts, email templates, follow-up procedures, and customer engagement formats.
Identify inefficiencies or training gaps and implement corrective measures to improve consistency and customer satisfaction.
3. Sales Growth & Distributor Support
Partner with the Sales Manager to monitor trends, identify growth opportunities, and evaluate distributor performance.
Strengthen distributor relationships through consistent communication, timely support, and professional problem resolution.
Assist in developing strategies to improve outbound engagement and conversion rates.
4. Team Training & Development
Deliver ongoing training on WhisperKOOL products, technical knowledge, communication standards, and customer service expectations.
Work with R&D, Engineering, and Customer Support to ensure accurate and updated technical information is available to the team.
Lead onboarding and training for new sales team members on processes, CRM tools, scripts, and sales best practices.
Provide coaching through side-by-side sessions, call reviews, feedback meetings, and performance development planning.
5. Sales Operations & CRM Accuracy
Ensure accuracy of quotes, order details, and sales documents to reduce errors and improve order flow.
Monitor Salesforce usage to ensure all team members maintain updated and accurate records, including notes, follow-up tasks, and pipeline information.
Oversee team compliance with follow-up procedures and timelines for open quotes and pending opportunities.
6. Reporting, KPI Tracking & Performance Monitoring
Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) including call activity, conversion rates, sales volume, quote accuracy, and distributor metrics.
Provide regular performance summaries to the Sales Manager and Executive Team.
Assist in identifying performance gaps and partner with HR as needed to implement coaching or corrective actions.
Contribute to establishing standards for performance, conduct, and accountability.
7. Customer & Account Support
Support escalated customer issues and ensure timely, accurate communication and resolution.
Assist team members with complex accounts or large opportunities requiring additional coordination.
Maintain and uphold WhisperKOOL’s customer service and communication standards.
8. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Logistics, Quality Assurance, and Customer Support to ensure accurate communication of timelines, product specifications, and order requirements.
Provide feedback from customers, distributors, and the sales floor to inform product updates, training needs, or process improvements.

Education & Experience
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience
3+ years of sales experience; previous supervisor or lead experience preferred
Experience in a manufacturing, technical, or product-based environment highly beneficial
Experience supporting distributors or channel partners preferred
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally
Regular use of computer, phone, and office equipment
Ability to participate in onsite training, walkthroughs, or product demonstrations
Work Environment
Office environment with occasional visits to production or warehouse areas
Fast-paced, deadline-driven, and team-oriented atmosphere
Regular interaction with Sales, Production, Engineering, and Customer Support teams
Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
