Surgery - General Nurse Practitioner

Job Title: Locum Nurse Practitioner - Cardiothoracic Surgery Facility and Practice Overview: Join a dedicated medical team in Lexington, KY, known for its high-quality care in cardiothoracic surgery at a leading inpatient facility. Key Responsibilities: Assist in CABG, AVR, MVR, and thoracotomy/lung resection surgeries.Perform OR duties, telemetry, and ICU responsibilities.Engage in call duties, including 1-2 on-call days per week and one weekend a month.Conduct inpatient rounds during weekends and manage associated procedures and surgery duties.Collaborate effectively with surgeons and support teams. Qualifications: Current Nurse Practitioner certification.Experience in cardiothoracic surgical assisting preferred.Strong clinical and procedural skills.Ability to work independently and make critical decisions.
