Lead Data Technician

Job Title: Lead Cable Technician (with travel) Location: Atlanta, GAPay Rate: $20 - $35/hrPosition Summary:Overtime available! Anistar is seeking an experienced Lead Structured Cabling Technician to support the installation, termination, testing, and servicing of voice, data, fiber, and security/access control systems. Candidates must be comfortable working from lifts and in active commercial environments.The ideal candidate must possess the following:The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with structured cabling installation, including pulling, routing, placement, termination, testing, and labeling of both copper and fiber infrastructure. Experience with IDF/MDF buildouts, rack installation, and fiber termination/testing is a plus. BICSI certification (current or prior) is also a plus but not required. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-directed, and capable of leading work with minimal supervision.Must have experience with the following:Per diem, mileage, drive time, and overtime provided when travelingMust be willing to use personal vehicleCorning UniCam or Panduit OptiCam terminationsAbility to work independently and lead small crewsStrong proficiency with fiber and copper cabling systemsInstallation, routing, termination, and testing of structured cabling in commercial environments2+ years of experience leading structured cabling installation and service in commercial environmentsAbility to service and troubleshoot network and POS systemsOwnership of basic telecom tools (punch-down tool, snips, wire strippers, cordless drill, etc.)Required PPE: hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, safety vest, steel/composite toe bootsFamiliarity with BICSI, EIA/TIA, or NEC standardsAbility to provide two professional referencesAbout Us:At Anistar Technologies, we connect skilled professionals across multiple industries with respected companies nationwide and internationally.
