Quality Inspector 2nd Shift

The Quality Inspector helps ensure that products and processes meet established quality standards,
regulatory requirements, and customer expectations, while learning and supporting the team's
continuous improvement efforts.
Responsibilities will include:
Inspect and test materials, components, and finished products for compliance with specifications and requirements
Record inspection data, test results, and audit documentation accurately and on time
Report defects, quality concerns, and trends to the QA Manager
Assist with investigations of quality issues and support corrective action follow-up
Work closely with Production and Engineering teams to flag and resolve quality concerns
Follow established quality procedures and help identify opportunities for process improvement
Participate in daily and weekly QA meetings
Support a positive, safe, and productive work environment
Complete assigned tasks accurately, safely, and on time
Monitor lab and inspection supplies and report needs to the QA Manager
Learn to use inspection tools, gauges, and quality software as part of on-the-job training
What You Bring
High school diploma or GED required; associate degree in a technical or quality field a plus
1–2 years of quality, manufacturing, or inspection experience
Ability to read engineering drawings, or willingness to learn
Comfortable using basic inspection tools (calipers, gauges) or willingness to learn
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel
Strong attention to detail, reliability, and willingness to learn
Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with quality concepts (ISO 9001, Lean, root cause analysis) a plus, not required
Prior experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
