We machine titanium, Inconel, aluminum, castings, forgings, and other high-performance materials requiring precision, quality, and reliability.Role SummaryWe are seeking a dependable and organized Tool Room Attendant to support daily machining operations by maintaining tooling readiness and tool room organization.This role is responsible for pre-setting CNC cutting tools, maintaining the tool library, managing inventory, issuing tools and measuring equipment, inspecting tooling condition, and helping ensure production teams have the resources needed to operate efficientlyDuties & Essential Job FunctionsAble to setup cutting tools and check them on a CNC tool presetteResponsible for inventory control of consumables and tools holdersMonitors min/max levels for all toolsEnters data into Excel tool library as necessaryFills tools and consumable requisitionsChecking tools in and out to jobsCleans and inspects toolsIdentifies tools that require repairResponsible for returning tools to the appropriate locationProperly labels new toolsResponsible for quality control on all outgoing tool deliveriesParticipates in the 5S program within the tool roomEnsures accurate inventory levels are met to fulfill orders.Perform other duties as directed by the supervisor.RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GEDStrong experience using Microsoft ExcelMinimum of 2 years experience requiredExperience with CNC tool presetterIntermediate level skills with Microsoft Word, Excel and OutlookWillingness to work flexible hoursExperience with maintenance/operation of basic tools and equipmentDesired QualificationCAD Software experience preferredSound organizational and planning skillsCapable of multi-tasking with sufficient ease to meet multiple priorities and deadlinesStrong interpersonal and communications skills, both oral & writtenFamiliarity of manufacturing environmentSkill in entering and recording information with accuracy and focus on detailsDetail oriented with exceptional organizational skillsPhysical Requirements (Lifting, Walking, Bending, Stooping kneeling etc)The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
