No phone calls or solicitations, please.The Martis Perk Cafe is seeking a barista to join its wonderful team for the winter season.The Martis Perk barista warmly greets members, answers menu questions, processes orders, and creates quality Beverages. The Barista is also responsible for the overall presentation of the Perk, ensuring it is clean and items are stocked properly.Job Duties include:Provide excellent customer service to all guestsAble to work under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor at all timesMaintain the store and anticipate customer needsAlways arrive timely to shift and maintains a consistent attendanceAble to work flexible hours that include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays.Able to shift effectively and efficiently between many different types of tasksPrepare beverages, food products, and handle incoming phone orders and computer orders.Other duties as assigned by the Perk ManagerRequirements:Pre-employment drug screen (marijuana results excluded for 21 and over)Strong communication skillsWork well under pressureStrong planning skillsPunctualAbility to MultitaskStrong attention to detailCustomer service and restaurant experienceAble to stand, walk, twist, bend, and kneel for up to 8 hours during a shift with one 30-minute meal and two ten-minute breaksAble to safely lift up to 30 poundsMust be California Food Handlers Safe Certified from an accredited source and R esponsible Beverage Service (RBS) certifiedPerks:Meals (one per shift during season) and snacksUse of some Club amenities (golf course, tennis courts etc.)Retail Spa and Golf shop discountsEligibility for Ambassador of the MonthAmbassador recognition celebrationsUniforms provided and launderedFree Summer Ambassador Golf ClinicsFree Summer Ambassador Tennis ClinicsParticipation in WorkTango recognition programsHourly Rate: $18/hr + tipsPowered by JazzHR
