The CSP engineering role contributes to the Corvette GT3 program with exposure to internal stakeholders, external customers, and vehicle/system development in various capacities.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesExternal Customer Vehicle and Championship SupportAct as the main point of contact for vehicle operation and customer support:Support teams with vehicle operation and service through use of internal documentation, tool sets, and knowledge base including but not limited to:Published vehicle support documentationDocumentation and tracking tools for reviewing support requests and issue trackingVehicle configuration and mileage trackingPre-event support and shop-based preparation to assist customers with vehicle operation and configuration recommendations through:Generation and distribution of pre-event report documentationTracking and communication of recommended vehicle hardware and software updates and statusGeneration of internal event preparation documentationChampionship rules, regulations, and series update trackingParticipation/organization of meetings to review above mentioned informationAt-event Support Of Tracking Vehicle Operation ThroughVehicle data processing and information distributionMonitoring of critical vehicle system performanceTracking customer hardware, performance, and functional related feedback for customer and internal useTools, systems, and simulation support throughout eventParticipation/organization of meetings to collaborate or review program level performance, hardware or operational objectivesPost event support to advance customer and program level understanding and development:Documentation and reporting of performance and hardware operation or issuesDerive program level objectives and deliverable from at-event learningsParticipation/organization of meetings to review above mentioned informationInternal Program SupportContributing To Vehicle Development InitiativesVehicle setup/performanceVehicle hardware integrationGeneral subsystem developmentIn-person support of offsite testingTools and process development to aid in the above listed tasksSimulation SupportBaseline vehicle model correlation and specific event performance sensitivity generationDevelopment content generation for specific test events or larger scale development programsIn-person support of offsite testing for either internal or customer support of DiL testingProgram Reporting And DocumentationMaintain and develop reporting documentation and process for event and engineering level projectsRegularly lead discussion with internal teams on program specific assigned tasksTeam Member InteractionsThis role will interface heavily with our primary supplier and customer base.
