This role will oversee a cross functional team of individuals to identify and evaluate new markets, partnerships, sales channels, and customers. To be successful in this role you will need to develop a wide network of contacts to keep informed about current and future industry and market actions. Research and analyze the business environment, competitors, and customers to develop ideas for new products and services, pricing, and business models. Additionally, this role will direct financial feasibility studies, develop proposals, and negotiate for new business opportunities. This role will guide marketing, sales, and customer account management, while collaborating with product development, production, and quality to successfully bring new products to market.Job FunctionsIdentifying potential new markets, customers, and products to target;Building and managing strategic alliances with other companies to create new business opportunities;Driving yearly revenue growth with existing customers;Understands, maintains, and grows the brand name that Mid Continent Controls has worked to create;Provide input into effective processes for sales, marketing, and business development;Assist in the development of short and long-range business forecasts, sales plans, marketing plans, and budgets;Provide continuous market and solution set feedback;Communicate effectively with others using both oral and written communication skills.Other duties as required.
