Our goal is to be the preferred partner in the industries we serve.The Plate Roll Operator will shape, reduce the cross-sectional area, and elongate metal pieces by passing them between smooth-surfaced or rotating rollers which exert a continuous compressive force. Perform tasks related to the rolling of steel plate, efficiently, and to Landmark's quality standards.Essential Functions:Operate rolling machine to form metal plates, sheets, or bars into arcs, cylinders, or cones, using drawings, templates, and knowledge of geometry and physical properties of metal to set up machine and plan sequence of operationsPerform layout work required for the forming of tank parts and componentsPerform and document QA/QC checksSafe and efficient operation and maintenance of roll machinery and handling equipmentUnderstanding of OSHA Part 1910 and 1926Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
