Description:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant General Manager to lead our team and ensure the seamless operation of our fast-paced food service establishment. This pivotal role combines leadership, management, and culinary expertise to deliver exceptional customer experiences while maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and operational efficiency. As an energetic and motivated leader, you will support the General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant functions, supervising staff, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with all food safety regulations. Your passion for hospitality and team development will drive the success of our restaurant, creating a welcoming environment for both guests and staff.DutiesAssist the General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing proceduresSupervise and motivate staff to deliver outstanding customer service and uphold brand standardsManage food preparation processes, ensuring quality control and consistency across all menu itemsOversee POS systems and cash handlingControl inventory levels through effective stock management, ordering, and waste reduction strategiesLead staff training initiatives focused on food safety, food handling, and service excellenceSupport shift management by coordinating schedules, managing labor costs, and resolving operational issues promptlyEnsure compliance with health regulations, safety standards, and company policiesAssist in budgeting efforts and monitor financial performance to meet operational goalsFoster a positive team environment that encourages professional growth and developmentRequirementsProven experience in food service management within quick service or fast food restaurants; fine dining or casual dining experience is a plusStrong background in kitchen management, culinary techniques, and food preparation processesDemonstrated supervising experience with a focus on team management, training & development, and performance coachingProficiency with POS systems, experience with cash handling is essentialKnowledge of inventory control practices and food safety standardsExcellent communication skills with the ability to interview candidates and lead staff effectivelyAbility to manage shift operations efficiently while maintaining high customer service standardsHospitality management experience preferredLeadership qualities with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-makingFamiliarity with budgeting, food production, catering services, bar operations, and overall restaurant managementJoin us as an Assistant General Manager to inspire your team, elevate guest experiences, and grow your career in a vibrant hospitality environment.
