Bilingual HR Coordinator
Position Summary: The HR Coordinator provides essential support to the Human Resources department by managing a variety of administrative and operational functions, including recordkeeping, file maintenance, and data entry within the HRIS system. This role is key to ensuring the smooth execution of HR processes, offering day-to-day support to employees and managers, and fostering a compliant, inclusive, and positive workplace culture. Serving as a liaison between HR leadership, plant operations, and corporate initiatives, the HR Coordinator helps align HR practices with organizational goals. This position also ensures all HR activities and practices are administered in compliance with federal and state regulations and adhere to internal policies.Essential Functions include, but are not limited to: Serve as a point of contact for employee questions regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.Address employee requests, provide support, and escalate issues as needed.Prepare and manage onboarding and offboarding documentation.Maintain employee records (HRIS and hard copy), ensuring all HR databases are accurate and up to date.Performs routine filing, scanning, and archiving records to ensure record retention compliance.Assist with position management including set-up, entry, and updates in the HRIS.Completes I-9 forms, verifies I-9 documentation, and maintains I-9 files.Coordinate training sessions, HR events, and other plant activities.Assist with handling explanation and coordination of employee benefits to new hires.Assist with the annual Open Enrollment process.Collaborate with the entire Human Resource team.Completes special projects and other duties as assigned.Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Excellent organizational skillsExcellent attention to detailExcellent time management skillsEffective communication, oral and writtenStrong interpersonal skillsAbility to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.Strong teamwork and collaborative skills.Supervisory Responsibilities:This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
