Christian Child Care Center - Infant Teacher Teacher

We are looking for a teammate that love babies and wants to be an impactful part of their first year of life! Our infant room opening is for Teacher to work preferrable Monday through Friday. We are flexible on hours! The position can be for 9-5pm, 10-5pm, or 10-4pm (For a total of 30 to 40 hours per week). TSC Teacher Job Description Our Teachers are responsible for creating their classroom’s curriculum while following our lesson plan guidelines, as well as managing the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom. Teachers must understand children’s cognitive, social, emotional and physical development in order to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment where children are actively engaged and encouraged to succeed. Our Teachers must be skilled in communicating with both children and adults in order to meet the needs of the children, effectively guide and work alongside the teacher assistant, and resolve parental concerns. Key Responsibilities: Create and implement educational curriculum by developing classroom activities that encourage social, cognitive, and emotional growth. Ensure lesson plans are posted in the classroom at all times. Lead by example; encourage teaching team success through modeling and coaching. Maintain frequent communication with parents through verbal discussions as well as messages through our Procare app. Update the Procare app on the children’s daily activities, feedings, diaper changes/restroom breaks, and pictures. Ensure all center policies and state regulations are met. Ensure a healthy classroom environment – including maintaining appropriate cleanliness standards and safety of children. Utilize nap time as an opportunity to complete tasks such as: clean the classroom, update Procare, and work on lesson plans. Ensuring Face to Name sheets and Diaper logs are always up to date. Fingerprint clearance card. 6 months or more experience working with children in a licensed childcare. Negative TB test or willing to get one prior to start date.
