Apple Frontline Support Lead Engineer / TPM

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Frontline Support Lead Engineer / Technical Program Manager (TPM) to provide end-to-end support and operational leadership for MCAD engineering applications and virtual desktop environments.The role involves acting as the primary technical escalation point and coordination bridge between end users, infrastructure teams, application vendors, and automation platforms to ensure service reliability and performance.Key Qualifications (MCAD Support):· Hands-on experience with VMware Horizon / Omnissa Horizon Client· User account management across multiple account types· Troubleshooting SMB/CIFS network share access and mapped drives· Working knowledge of Siemens NX and Teamcenter· Application deployment and software lifecycle management· HPC cluster administration experience· Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint or similar)· Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with ability to work across varying technical skill levels· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentDesirable Qualifications:· FEA & simulation tools: Ansys (Mechanical, Maxwell, HFSS, EDT, OpticStudio/Zemax, Additive Suite, EMC Plus)· Networking and VPN troubleshooting experience· macOS-specific VMware/Omnissa Horizon client troubleshooting· Experience with automated onboarding workflows and debugging automation failuresKey Responsibilities:· Own end-to-end MCAD user support, service reliability, and operational delivery for engineering applications and VDI environments· Act as primary escalation lead for VMware Horizon, Siemens NX, Teamcenter, Ansys, and related tools· Manage operational support for VMware/Omnissa Horizon across Windows and macOS environments· Oversee deployment, upgrades, and lifecycle management of MCAD and simulation applications· Coordinate HPC cluster access, job execution issues, license usage, and capacity management with infrastructure teams· Manage user accounts, entitlements, licensing, and SMB/CIFS file share access· Troubleshoot network, VPN, and connectivity issues impacting VDI and engineering workloads· Improve and support automated onboarding workflows; investigate and resolve automation failures· Serve as TPM coordinating across infrastructure, application, security, and vendor teams· Maintain documentation, incident metrics, and executive-level service health reportingMandatory Skills:· VMware Horizon / Omnissa Horizon Client (hands-on experience)· User account management across systems· SMB/CIFS file share and mapped drive troubleshooting· Siemens NX and Teamcenter working knowledge· Application deployment and software management· HPC cluster administration· MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)· Strong English communication skills· Ability to work in dynamic, fast-paced environments independently and in teamsOptional Skills:· Ansys and FEA/simulation tool expertise· Networking and VPN diagnostics· macOS Horizon/Omnissa troubleshooting· Automation/onboarding bot support and debugging experienceTop of FormBottom of Form"All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran."
