No Purpose of the Job The Production Associate I will perform manufacturing functions associated with building Custom and or BTE Devices. This position will be based out of Aurora, Illinois. Key Tasks & Responsibilities May perform any or all of the following Custom device functions Cut / Trim / Sanding Lacquer Tube Installation Acoustical Testing May perform any or all of the following BTE functions BTE Assembly BTE Repair BTE Acoustical Testing Invoicing Packing Kitting / Picking Maintains workstation in a clean, safe, and orderly manner Visually inspects product, identifies defects / rejects, and escalates issues as required Performs general routine machine maintenance and daily workstation clean-up Active participation in quality improvement processes Initiates process improvements and motivates peers to achieve team goals Meets established individual and team goals Flex to various positions as business needs require Travelling Requirement None Qualifications need to have nice to have Basic Education High School Diploma OR GED / equivalent Further Education Work Experience 1 - 3 years' experience in manufacturing Personal Competencies -Flex to various positions as business needs require -Able to follow and understand work instructions -Demonstrated understanding of ESD and handling of material in accordance with established safety procedures Social Competencies -Willingness to work in a team environment -Good communication and interpersonal skills Leadership Competencies Ability to train others and use problem solving techniques.
